Attracting an international audience with a powerfully expressive performance, SPIN MASTER A-1 uses fingerdrumming techniques to push beyond the traditional scope of a DJ, and into a new territory to become a turntablist who is fully capable of a captivating one-man live performance on the stage. As a tour DJ alongside rapper and artist Shing02, SPIN MASTER A-1 has become active in both Japan as well as overseas. Becoming increasingly known for his production as well as his DJ skill, he plans to continue working on various projects, with an already dense volume of work to date.
His current activities are quite numerous. His musical and professional opinions highly sought after, he has served as a judge on several DMC DJ competition panels. SPIN MASTER A-1 is also an apparel brand promoter, lends his expertise as an advisor on DJ equipment for an industry acclaimed manufacturer, and is an ambassador for Los Angeles based turntablist collective The Beat Junkies.
